Jefferson Airplane · Fillmore East poster
Byrd’s Fillmore East sheet for Jefferson Airplane — early exclusive-era rock poster language.
Jefferson Airplane was among the core Fillmore East commissions after Byrd’s exclusive hire by Bill Graham.
Poster Child and estate catalog keep Airplane sheets as signature East Village psychedelic design — hard-edged type, saturated color, and venue-program pairing.
Wikipedia and Bahr Gallery chronologies list Jefferson Airplane alongside Hendrix, Traffic, Iron Butterfly, and Grateful Dead as defining Fillmore clients.
This chapter sits next to Traffic (first assignment) and Hendrix (Billboard Top 25) so the exclusive era reads as a full book of nights, not one famous face.
Open Archive and Shop for related Airplane editions when listed; this article is the life/career stop for the commission.
