Moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico

In 2024, Byrd and Beserra moved from Los Angeles to Albuquerque, New Mexico — the final geographic chapter of their life together, recorded on Wikipedia and in friend memorial writing after his death.

A friend published the last photograph of David and Jolino together, taken April 11, 2024, the day before David left Los Angeles. That image is imported locally for this timeline entry so the Albuquerque chapter is not illustrated with recycled poster art.

The Albuquerque home was described in that tribute as a new chapter; within a year it became the place where Beserra would announce Byrd’s death from an Albuquerque hospital.

Estate chronology tracks the move for biographical accuracy: Los Angeles decades (Van Halen, theatres, Warner Bros., studios) close; New Mexico opens.
